Robert Lee

Robert Lee currently serves as one of the founders and the Director of Development Acquisitions and Financing for Self Storage Partners, LP, a national self storage development and acquisition firm with relationships with various equity and debt fund investors. Mr. Lee is also the co-founder of SING Ltd. Co. which, together with Storage USA (www.sus.com), formerly the second largest storage real estate investment trust (REIT), developed and owned ten self storage facilities in various states around the country. SING's activities were focused on the development and management of storage assets nationwide.

Since 1996, Mr. Lee has helped to develop eighteen state-of-the-art storage properties with over 1,500,000 gross square feet. Total aggregate retail value of these developed projects exceeds $100,000,000.

Mr. Lee's primary responsibilities for Self Storage Partners, LP, include underwriting of new projects, due diligence, entitlements. Mr. Lee has worked closely in managing all financial aspects of each transaction, including financial underwriting of the projects with debt and equity partners that include The Huntington Bank, Key Bank, Texas Capital GR Real Estate, Prudential Real Estate Investors and many others. Mr. Lee attended the University of New Mexico and participated in post-graduate work at the University of Wales, U.K. and the University of Texas at El Paso's language program in Moscow.
