David V. Strauss

Mr. Strauss has more than 36 years of experience in development, construction, and construction risk management. He is co-founder of a nationwide firm providing construction management claims services to surety, insurance, and financial clients. As a participating partner of the Beucler Properties team, Mr. Strauss is an expert in the comprehensive analysis of cities throughout the Southeastern U.S. to identify, evaluate and secure specific locations for multi-family and mixed use real estate developments. Additionally, he assists in raising equity, debt placement, negotiating sales of developed properties, and coordination of architectural, engineering, and rezoning issues.

Prior to partnering with BP, Mr. Strauss gained extensive experience in all aspects of construction management across the U.S. He has been vice president of three companies, including Lokey Properties and Comstock, Inc., dealing with construction, budgets, engineering, acquisitions, financing, cost control, and management for projects in Texas, California, Hawaii, Tennessee, Florida, Oklahoma, Illinois, Colorado, and Missouri, just to name a few Along with a background in all these areas, he has also served on various city and county committees in Texas regarding planning, zoning, and budgeting of growth and development of city areas.

Mr. Strauss attended the University of Houston where he obtained his degree in Marketing. He has also completed Business and Real Estate Courses from Southern Methodist University and completed one year of Law study from William Howard Taft School of Law.
