Webb Wallace is the founder of
SING Ltd. Co. (acronym for Storage Investment Group), a privately
held self storage development company. Over a four-year period
through a joint venture with Storage USA (acquired by Extra
Space Storage in 2005); SING developed 10 self storage facilities
in seven cities in the United States. SING is currently a
strategic partner with Extra Space, the second largest self
storage company in the United States.
Wallace is also the founder of Storage Investment Partner,
LP, which through affiliated partnerships has developed five
additional state-of-the-art storage facilities. In 2003, Wallace
and his partner Rob Lee, entered into a partnership, Self
Storage Partners, LP, (“SSP”) with Beucler Properties,
LP, headed by Michael H. Beucler, to develop self storage
facilities nationwide. The first of these facilities was completed
in 2004 just west of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
SSP has created a joint venture with Prudential Real Estate
Investors, through which SSP will develop self storage facilities
nationwide. The first of these facilities was competed in
2004 just west of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
SSP has created a joint venture with Prudential Real Estate
Investors, through which SSP will develop self storage facilities
in multiple markets across the country. The first three projects
to be undertaken by SSP under this venture are in Santa Fe,
New Mexico, San Antonio, Texas, and Bermuda Dunes California.
Other locations in Texas, California, and Florida are in the
pipeline.
Wallace has over 35 years experience in real estate development,
investment, brokerage, and consulting. During the 1970’s
he held numerous executive positions with the developer of
Las Colinas, a 5000 acre master planned community between
downtown Dallas and the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
These positions included president of Southland Investment
Properties and executive vice-president of Las Colinas Corporation.
He left Las Colinas in 1978 to pursue various independent
real estate activities including hotel development property
acquisitions and dispositions, and disposition of properties
for a major financial institution. He has also been founder
and director of two de noveau banks. Wallace is a graduate
of the University of the South and holds a Master in Business
Administration from Stanford University.
